{1} What made you begin your shop?

I was first introduced into bow making by my sister in-law. I quickly fell in love with making bows and wanted to make matching bows for all my daughters outfits. I heard about Etsy from a friend and loved the idea of selling on a website that was strickly for handmade items. When I first opened my shop I only sold flowers and bows, but then it quickly expanded to headbands, hats, and my new clothing line.

{2} What are some of your other favorite Etsy shops?

I love Heart 2 Handbags, they have the cutest purses for little girls and my other fav is Lil Doodlers, seriously the cutest crayons ever, your kids will love them!!

{3} What is your favorite item currently in your shop?

I love the Ultimate Neapolitan 12 piece Starter Pack. The color combinations in this set are by far my favorite and it is a great gift giving set. Check it out here.

{4} What is up next for you?

I will continue to expand my shop. I started with just a mere 50 items and now I am up to almost 200. I just listed my Valentine's collection, including heart onesie's, flower, bow, and hat packages.  I am working on my Spring line and it will be up on the website sometime in February.  I have tons of new items coming and will be expanding my clothing line even more, so stay tuned!

My friend and I, inspired by our daughters, decided to to into business together. It has always been our goal to have our 'Little Angels' shine, and so, Shining Stars Boutique was born. We specialize in everything that will make YOUR little angel shine As well...From hair bows and clippies to cute dresses and tutu's, and so much more!

I take great pride in what I do and I will not sell anything that I wouldn't have my own daughter wear. I fully line all of my clippies, include non-slip velcro on all clippies at no extra charge or request, and seal all the ends of my ribbon to prevent fraying. I keep my prices low for a reason. When I used to purchase items for my own daughter, I was only able to purchase a few (mostly neutral so they'd go with anything) since they were so expensive. I know firsthand how expensive having a little girl is, yet, how much fun it is to dress them up and accessorize - so, my prices are low so you won't feel guilty buying more than one! I hope that you will enjoy my creations and think of others that may also want their 'Little Angels' to shine as well!

We also found the perfect rug that doesn't take over a small space. And we LOVE the wooden baby blocks from Elegant Baby that fit perfectly on a white shelf. Polka Dot decals & Pottery Barn Teen Bright Bloom Stickers in pink fill the cotton candy walls.

A little girls room is never complete without bows. And we found the best place to get them - Etsy! The heart hair bow holder from Shinning Star Boutique, a cute store we have come to love along with the blue/green flower loop boutique hair bow. Balasa Designs gets us excited for spring with the adorable tulip flower clip and Pampered Princesses gives us no slip clips we love. Sassy & Sweet tops if off with a cupcake hair clip perfect to sass up your sweetie. And of course, the Sweet Harper ClippyArt is the perfect hanging accessory, complete with Sweet Harper singles & triplet clips for your little one's room.

And let's not forget those lovies! Bundled gives us oh so chic little giraffe rattles you little one will just swoon over. We also love the personalized unique dolls from Sophie & Lili - they have became our favorite doll to snuggle with. For a splash of color on your little ones easy chair -Blabla's Berry-Lee doll is a unique hand knitted find. You can never have enough to snuggle!

Check out your local Homegoods store for the finishing touches for the perfect place. We found great hat boxes, storage trunks and cute little signs to make the room complete. The best part is everything was under $10!
